Arte on the Line is a showcase of artists who make art of the lived experience on the US-Mexico border[s]. Where two or more cultures are separated, there is opportunity for them to meet. With artistic intervention, these divisions and their kinetic potential for connectivity become clear, created, and destroyed. This allows for these borders to be reconsidered, and will initiate conversation to form and digest counter-narratives. The artists featured are especially concerned with migration, immigrant rights, and the physical separation of land and people.
